Nothing but positive things to say about this office. I’ve been going to them since I moved to Seattle a few years ago. I hadn’t gone for a while and I had a discolored tooth that I had been very down about for months. I just went in for a routine cleaning and the ladies let me know that it was just a surface stain. I did t get my hopes up but when they finished, I looked in the mirror and saw a perfectly white smile. I couldn’t believe how well they removed the stain and they were so kind and friendly the whole time. I was very comfortable and enjoyed chatting with everyone at the office. Went looking for a new local dentist about 9-10 months ago urgently due serious molar pain, I made an appointment and they saw me right away. After less than 5 minutes of describing my pain they helped me out right away and by the end of the day I wasnt in nearly as much pain. I needed a super last minute X-ray of my Wisdom teeth taken and sent back to my dentist in Vermont, the folks at Greenlake Dental were AMAZING!!! I couldn’t express enough how full of gratitude I am for Greenlake Dental. I was able to schedule a new patient appointment with ease and so fast! The administrative staff at the front desk made it quick and painless. As far as the super sweet + kind dental hygienist and Dr. Chang the dentist, I felt like I was in great hands my entire appointment. It has been some time since my last visit to a dentist office, unfortunately due to a less than pleasant experience. The staff at Greenlake dental were extremely receptive to my anxieties and nervousness. I was never made to feel brushed off or un heard. My dental plans were communicated in a way that made me trust in the fact that this is a solution oriented team. Continued care was layed out by priority with thorough explanations as to why. It was so important to me while finding a new dental practice that I felt comfortable and my sensitivities taken in to account - I was at ease the whole time solely due to how warm and considerate the Greenlake Dental staff is. Everyone working here is kind, competent, and on-time (no waiting at all). The staff go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable and address any concerns promptly. I had a laser frenectomy here and the entire process took about 20 minutes (5 minute exam, 10 minutes to get numb, and then 5 minutes of lasing). I think the worst part was the needle, but Dr. Chang even made that quick and easy. He warned that I might be sore for a few days, but it was nothing that ibuprofen couldn't handle.

My mother woke up with a pain associated with dental work that was done by a different dentist in another state. She called Greenlake dental around 10 am and the same day was given an appointment to see her dentist. We arrived at our appointment time, the staff follows their Covid protocols and when it was my mothers turn to check in, she was the only one in the lobby. My mother was greeted with a smile and checked in and the dentist saw her at her appointment time. We have made an appointment to take care of her issue caused by a different dentist and the price is less than the work done before. Greenlake Dental is a great place to get dental work done, professional and they make my mother feel welcome, she is very happy with them.

"Dr. Chang numbed me up, fixed the filling and I was literally driving away within 20 minutes! Amazing." I've been coming here for a few years now, in "spurts." For my last visit, I was running quite late (30 minutes). I called ahead to let them know, and they were able to still see me. The appointment was to fix a filling. They got me in, Dr. Chang numbed me up, fixed the filling and I was literally driving away within 20 minutes! Amazing. I'm sure this particular filling was a smaller job than most fillings, but I've never experienced a dental appointment that actually accomplished the job and got me out that fast. Aside from just overall competence and feeling confident in Dr. Chang as a dentist, one small thing that signals to me that he's an experienced dentist is his technique when applying novocaine. He has a knack for getting it in the right spot, using pressure with his finger so it isn't very painful, and he massages the area a little as it's going in to spread it around quicker (which also keeps it from swelling in the area around the needle). I noticed this right away from my first visit with him, although I never mentioned anything about it. Most dentists I've experienced had to put the needle in 2 or 3 times, in different areas, and it always hurt a little more. The first time Dr. Chang applied novocaine to me, although I appreciated the one-time shot and less pain, I wondered if maybe he just didn't do enough and if the procedure was going to be painful because I would still feel something. Because I hate needles, it was a dilemma - should I say anything and get another needle shot, or see how it goes and hope for the best? It worked out the first time, but I wasn't sure if it was just a fluke. But then it worked out the second time, and then every time, and now I understand that it's because he's an experienced and good dentist; I have a lot more faith and confidence in him because of this small thing. Honestly, for that reason alone, I cringe at the thought of trying another dentist and possibly going back to feeling more needle pricks and swelling before the novocaine spreads out on its own. I think this also speeds up the numbing process, making the whole procedure faster. Maybe that's why I had my fastest visit ever to a dentist on my last visit! High praises for Dr. Chang! PS - I read the two negative reviews, and I don't understand either of them ... who complains about a dentist "only" working on two teeth at a time for one visit? And if you have a hard time finding the location, well, for one thing, it should only be hard to find once, because if you can't find it after you've already been there once, you have other issues ... and for another thing, how can people complain so much about everything BUT the quality of the dental service? I didn't see a single complaint about the quality of dental service, and yet both reviews gave one star. I own a small business myself, and I just hate seeing reviews like this. If you're going to give just one star, you'd better have damn good reasons for it, because you're screwing with someone's livelihood. Hopefully people will be able to see the shallowness in those reviews and ignore them, this dentist is worth a shot.

I was undergoing severe tooth pain in the middle of the night and a staff member picked up at about 3 am in the morning to schedule an appointment on the same day, despite how busy they were. I can really appreciate that. I went in for a consultation which was almost free considering I had my panoramic x-ray readily available from my dentist out of this country. The consultation was reasonable and catered towards my budget. There's really nothing more I could ask for. I think I may have finally found my primary dental clinic in Seattle.

I went to Greenlake Dental for the first time the other day. Everyone in the office was extremely friendly. I ended up needing two fillings which was going to take longer than expected, so they asked me if I could wait for a bit so they could finish up with other clients then have time to do both of my fillings. It was a long wait but they were super friendly about it, thanking me and bringing me tea. She did a great job with the fillings, spent her time with me to make sure the mouth guard fit after, and the best part - she constantly was thanking her assistant. They all appreciate each other.
